North Stone Farm offers lesson programs for riders of any age. We offer group and private lessons that run Monday through Saturday, which are held indoors in our oversize arena.

What to expect at a lesson:

Riders arrive 30 minutes before their scheduled riding time to groom and tack up their horse or pony.

Linda coaches riders, according to their level, on the flat or through jumping exercises. Riders learn how to warm up, ride, and cool down their horse in a controlled environment. Every lesson is an opportunity to learn barn safety as well. Linda will advise the appropriate lesson group for the riders skill level.

Semester Program:

Lessons are offered at a more economical price with the semester option. Monthly lesson packages are also available if there are still spaces after the semester students are placed.

Lessons are offered by Semester:

Semesters run September 1 to February 29, and March 1 to August 31

24 weeks of lessons (this is a 26 week period, so classes may be cancelled 2x in this period)

$1200 +HST ($135 savings over the monthly program)

If you're not choosing the semester option, group lessons are $55 each +HST (or $220/month +HST)

Notes:

Upon signup, you will receive an invoice to pay via cash or e-transfer (northstonefarm@hotmail.com)

$1200 +HST = $1356. This can be paid in 2 instalments.

If you miss your scheduled lesson, a make-up lesson may be scheduled during the same week if availability permits. Make-up lessons are not guaranteed.

Once registered, the program is final sale.

Leasing and half-leasing

Opportunities exist for riders at North Stone farm to lease or half lease show quality horses and ponies. Leasing gives a rider the feel of owning a horse without having to purchase one.
